Top Cryptocurrency Apps on iOS in Portugal: Q2 2025 Performance

In the second quarter of 2025, the iOS cryptocurrency app landscape in Portugal experienced varied trends across the top five applications. The data, sourced from Sensor Tower, provides insights into weekly downloads and active users for these apps.

Binance: Buy Bitcoin & Crypto began the quarter with a decline in weekly downloads, reaching a low of around 648 in late April. However, it saw a significant spike to approximately 5K downloads in early May before stabilizing around 800 by the end of June. Concurrently, active users decreased from about 67K to 41K over the quarter.

Crypto.com: Buy BTC, ETH & CRO maintained a relatively stable download rate, fluctuating around 500 to 600 weekly downloads throughout the quarter. Active users showed a slight increase from 9.3K to a peak of 10.3K in mid-June, before ending the quarter at approximately 9.5K.

World App - Worldcoin Wallet experienced a consistent download trend, averaging around 500 downloads per week. The app's active user base declined gradually from 43K at the start of the quarter to about 30K by the end of June.

Coinbase: Buy BTC, ETH, SOL started with modest weekly downloads of around 300, which increased steadily to 559 by the end of June. Despite this growth in downloads, active users decreased from 13.8K to approximately 11K over the same period.

Finally, Bybit: Buy Bitcoin & Crypto saw fluctuating download numbers, starting at 342 and ending at 254. Active users exhibited a slight upward trend, reaching a peak of 6.2K in late May before stabilizing around 5.2K by the end of the quarter.
